For glove users that experience skin discomfort when wearing standard nitrile gloves, Forteflex™ DERMA ACTIVATE™ seeks to provide relief. These gloves are produced using a patented  formula that eliminates sulphur and chemical accelerators (thiurams, thiazoles, or carbamates) from the glove manufacturing process which have been linked to skin irritation among certain users. Clinically tested using the “Modified Draize-95” skin sensitization test, Forteflex™ DERMA ACTIVATE™ nitrile gloves have been shown to reduce the risk of Type IV allergies and are therefore labeled as “Low Dermatitis Potential.” With a soft-feel that reduces the fatigue of long periods of use, these gloves are also rated for use with a wide-range of chemotherapeutic drugs and other substances including fentanyl, and simulated gastric acid.
